Mini Games
Mini games 1 and 3 are part of the story, and 4 is optional. It is unknown if 2 can be played during the story. All four can be unlocked in the title screen by using a code during the opening: Up, Down, Left, Right, Down, Up, Right, Left, A.[1] The World Tournament Announcer can explain how to play the mini game.
- Mini Game 1 - Gohan must dive and move rocks in the water in order to find a Namekian Dragon Ball. Gohan has to breathe out of the water regularly to not drain his oxygen gauge.
- Mini Game 2 - Krillin must manipulate his energy to hit moving Namekian Frogs. He must hit four of them before Nail.
- Mini Games 3 - Krillin must dodge Dodoria (who can fire Ki Blasts) and run from place to place until Dodoria's motivation gauge at the bottom of the screen is empty. Played when Gohan and Krillin save Dende. If caught, Krillin can use Solar Flare to escape.
- Mini Game 4 - Solve the puzzle under a certain time limit. There are 8 puzzles in total that appear in a random order, which form "DRAGON BALL Z" in katakana. Can be played in Moori's village during the time Krillin and Dende are going to Guru's place. After solving all 8 puzzles in the story, hold Up+A+Start to enter the pause menu and unlock a secret menu with all mugshots and a sound test.[1]

Trivia
- The sky from the Super Game Boy border becomes dark when Porunga is summoned after Guru's revival (it doesn't change in the first time). There aren't many games that change the Super Game Boy border, although it's just a pallete change in this case.
