アウター (Outer)	Outlands?
ヒトビトが暮らす安全地帯「インナー」に対し、危険な機械生命体「イレギュラー」が巣くう、無法の荒野を「アウター」と呼ぶ。イレギュラーの危険性から、このアウターは、どの国も干渉しない不可侵地帯となっている。	While "Inner" is a safety zone where people live, the dangerous machine life form “Irregular” nests in the lawless wilderness called "Outer". Due to the dangers Irregulars represent, the Outer is an inviolable area where no country interferes.
イレギュラー (Irregular)	Maverick
暴走をきたしたレプリロイド、メカニロイドの総称。イレギュラーの中には、野生化し、環境に適応して独自に進化を遂げたものも存在している。イレギュラーが暴走した原因は、不明とされる。	Generic term for Repliroids and Mechaniroids that have gone out of control. Some Irregulars have evolved in the wild and adapted to the environment. It is unknown what causes Irregulars to go out of control.
インナー (Inner)	Innerpeace?
ヒトビト（人間とレプリロイド）が生活する国のこと。この世界には、いくつかの国家が存在しているが、イレギュラーの住む区域「アウター」によって分断されている。	A country where people (humans and Repliroids) live. In this world, there are several nations, but they are separated by the "outer" areas where Irregulars live.
オーバードライブ	Overdrive
正式名称「オーバードライブ・インヴォーク・システム」（通称O.I.S.)。一部のライブメタルで発動可能な能力。ライブメタルのエネルギーを暴走させることで、本来の能力以上の性能を引き出すが、そのぶん消耗が激しい。
	Guardian
アウターのイレギュラー襲撃から、辺境の町々を守ってきた政府非公認組織。辺境の防衛と、アウターのイレギュラー発生原因の調査を独自にしている。基本的に有志の集まりであり、リーダーはプレリーという名の少女。
	Cyber-elf
プログラムによって生命を宿した電子妖精。数百年前から研究されているが、ヒトビトにはその存在は知られていない。	A program that survived as an electronic fairy. It has been studied for hundreds of years, but people do not know of its existence.
	Giro Express
ジルウェが営む「運び屋」の名称。身寄りの無い子供たちが主なメンバーであり、ヴァン（エール）もこの運び屋でジルウェとともに働いている。

世界に数台しかない大型エネルギー供給装置を保有する大企業。国へのエネルギー供給の大半をまかなっているため、社長であるセルパンは国民から英雄視されている。
人間	Human
人間とレプリロイドとの真の平等を目指して制定された法律により、この時代、人間は「機械の体」を与えられるようになった。ある程度の年齢に達した人間は、レプリロイドと同じ機械の体を与えられ、肉体の一部、あるいは全てを機械と交換することが可能となる（機械と交換された本来の肉体は、国の施設にて保管される）。まな、機械の体を得た人間は、肉体を保有することを示す照合用のID、「Hu」ナンバ ー（「Hu」は「Human」の略）を与えられる。	In this era, by the law enacted to achieve true equality between humans and Repliroids, human beings are given a "mechanical body". Humans who have reached a certain age are given the same mechanical body as Repliroids, and can replace part or all of the body with machines (The original body exchanged by machinery is stored at a national facility). この時代、人間とレプリロイドは、限りなく近しい存在となっている。この結果、お互いを「人間」「レプリロイド」と区別する習慣はなくなり、この2種族を総称して「ヒト」、あるいは「ヒトビト」と呼ぶようになっている。	In this era, humans and Repliroids are infinitely close. 適合者にしか使えないライブメタルの能力を、 セルパン・カンパニーの技________により擬似的に引き 出して使用しているレプリロイド。擬似ロックマ ンとも呼ばれる。強制的にライブメタルの能カを 引き出しているため、ライブメタル自体に負荷が かかっており、ライブメタルの格納部に強いダメ ージを________えると、回収時にライブメタルが破損し てしまう。
モデルV (Model V)	Model W
恐怖や絶望といったヒトビトの感情を喰らい、 成長（覚醒）する謎のライブメタル。その正体は、 数百年前に起こった戦争で使用された巨大兵器ラ グナロクの破片で、ラグナロクと一体化していた 「ある男」め意志が宿っている。
ライプメタル (Livemetal)	Biometal
生きた金属。サイバーエルフの能力、および、 データがこめられた物質の総称。辺境の自警団、 ガーディアンの調査隊によって、アウターにある 遺跡から発掘された。ライブメタルは様々な種類 が存在し、過去の歴史や、兵器のデータなどの情 報が記録されている。 また、ライブメタルは自ら の意思を持っており、かれらに認められた存在は、 さらなる知識やカを得ることができるとされる。
	Ragnarok
レプリロイド (Repliroid)	Reploid
限りなく人間に近いロボット。基本的には機械生命体であるため、肉体的な成長はなく、寿命も持たない。だが、人間とレプリロイドの真の平等を目的とした法律の制定により、レプリロイドも「寿命」を与えられることとなった。現在では、レプリロイドは、その電子頭脳が起動すると同時Iこ、「寿命」＝「活動限界時間」を設定される。人聞と同じく、市民として国家に記録され、照合用のIDを持つ。なお、レプリロイドは、額にマーキングが施され、人間と外観的な差がつけられている。	A robot that is as close to a human as possible. 各国の政府から代表を集い構成される、世界のすべてを統制している機関。マスター・トーマス、マスター・アルバート、マスター・ミハイルの「三賢人」を頂点とし、人間の機械化による強化、レプリロイドの寿命の制定など、世界の根本を取り決めた組織として全世界にその存在を知られている。世界に関わる重大な情報が収められているというライブメタルに賞金をかけ、その収集をハンターギルドに依頼する。三賢人は全員元人間であるが、全員が機械の体を持ち、特例として数百年の時を生き続けている。	An organization that controls all parts of the world and is made up of representatives from governments of each country.
